What can we say - the latest arrival here at The Fretted Buffalo is a visually stunning guitar with a a whole different level of attention to detail, even for Bourgeois Guitars, one of the top acoustic guitar building companies on earth! It is built with a Redwood top and a stunning set of Figured Black Walnut back and side set. Its sound quality matches it's appearance - we are still trying to get a handle on the vocabulary we'll need to describe it. This guitar was featured at the recent Artisan Guitar show just a few weeks ago - April 9 & 10. It is a fine example of the high art of lutherie that Bourgeois is capable of! Body, headstock, and fretboard binding is Cocobolo. Check out the unique rosette, made of segmented tile that matches the guitars' all around binding. The soundhole itself is bound. This guitar is hard to put down and look away from!
Basic specs: 1-23/32" nut; 2.2" string spacing at the bridge; long scale at 25.5". Built with hide glue and torrified Adirondack bracing. Please check out the spec sheet in the photo array for complete specs.
