Brand New Boucher BG-42-G Dreadnaught AAAA Torrified Adirondack / Brazilian Mahogany Gold Pack
$ 4,990.00
About This Listing
Our most recent arrival from our friends at Guitares Boucher in Quebec is this dynamite dreadnaught, a 'Bluegrass Goose' model BG-42-G, featuring Bouchers' 'Gold Pack' which adds a torrified AAAA grade Adirondack top and Gotoh Gold open back tuners. This guitar is full of power and clarity, not to mention real easy on the eyes! Boucher uses Adirondack soundboards exclusively, all hand selected by master craftsman Robin Boucher. It also features a set of beautiful Brazilian Mahogany for the back and sides. An excellent choice for a player who needs to stand out in any combination of fellow musicians!
Boucher has mastered the craft of torrefaction, the 'baking' of soundboards to replicate the effect of decades of playing and natural aging that dries the wood and produces the vintage sound that attracts so many players to guitars like the highly collectible ( and costly ) pre war Martins. Now you can get that sound without the high price and maintenance of a decades-old guitar!
The guitar is bound with Maple. The bridge and fingerboard are Ebony, as is the headplate.The South American Mahogany neck is satin finished for easy playability.
Please check out the attached demonstration video, courtesy of our good friend Doug Yeomans, and hear for yourself what we're talking about!
