Lowden Pierre Bensusan Signature model Adirondack / AAAA Honduran Rosewood

Here's a brand new Lowden 'Pierre Bensusan' signature model, expertly built with a luscious, straight grained Adirondack Spruce soundboard and a beautifully figured AAAA Honduran Rosewood for the back and side set. The guitar features a bevelled Ebony arm rest, and is completely bound in Ebony. Ebony is also used for the end wedge, the head plate and the signature plate at the back of the headstock.

This is one gorgeous, elegantly appointed guitar! Wonderful, sonorous, and easy to play! Each note is clearly defined up and down the fretboard.

Long scale, with 14 frets to the body. Nut width is 1-3/4", with string spacing at the bridge of of 2-3/8". This instrument was co-designed by world class finger style guitarist Pierre Bensusan, so it is perfectly built for maximum ease of performance for the finger style player, but it can more than handle a flat pickers heavier hand with it's high grade Adirondack Spruce top.

Pierre Bensusan plays exclusively in DADGAD tuning, and this guitar absolutely sings in DADGAD and other 'alternate' tunings!
